First off, I’m not doing this for views - I genuinely want to improve the quality of my videos. If that doesn’t jive with you, feel free to call me out on it or just leave, maybe?

Okay, so I made the video that is linked above in Adobe Premiere Pro, and it looked great in preview mode! But now that I’ve uploaded it to YouTube, I’ve noticed a few problems…

These include:

  • Lag time on ‘typographic’ scenes (at 0:18, 1:25, 2:56, 5:02). I swear it was on time in preview mode, but now it just looks awful… anybody know how to solve this, if it’s possible?
  • And most noticeably, the terrible audio quality! Should i just get a new mic, or is there a way I can reduce the noise in Premiere Pro? I’m currently using the Voice Recording app on my phone…

Feel free to answer, any, all or none of my questions - i’d love to get feedback from premiere pro experts, though! If there’s anything else in the video that you think can be improved upon, please tell me.

Also, sidenote: I thought the whole ‘paper on the desk’ background thing would look kinda cool, and simulate a school environment, but it looks awkward because of the angle - any suggestions?
