Help! Premiere not recognising my keyboard's number pad properly

Thanks for looking - I've got a new PC with wired keyboard, which has a number pad on because I've always enjoyed being able to type into the number pad and it automatically edits the sequence timecode (so while my sequence panel is in focus, I can type 53.22. Enter and instantly jump to 53m 22s in my sequence) and now it's not working. Some of the number pad keys do things like move left / right a frame, but only if I manually mouse click in the sequence timecode can I edit with the number pad. I'm trying to save hundreds of mouse clicks.

What I've tried

1. toggle Numlock on off
2. Disable mouse keys

..neither helps.

Make sure you have the proper mouse/keyboard driver installed.

Sorry to hear about this. Please try resetting keyboard shortcuts and check if it's working properly.

Here is how to do it:

• Close Premiere Pro
• Navigate to Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\14.0\Profile-user name\Win
• Move the kys file in the Win folder to Desktop
• Relaunch Premiere Pro and the default kys file will be recreated
• Try customizing the Keyboard shortcut again and check if it's working properly
