Hey. I hope there is someone who has better knowledge ofPremiere Pro 2020 and can help me. I found an old video with the help of friends. Unfortunately, the recording is not so good. Is there an opportunity to make it stand out sharply, both with light, colors and people? I converted it in "Media encoder 2020" to 1920x1080 Please see picture.
Regards

Hi Peru Bpb. Thank you for your reply. It looks exciting with Neat Video. I'm going to write the company about the video being split up in portions. Once I've come this far, I'll send you an email about how I succeeded. Thank you for your help this time.

Peru Bpb. I can only thank you for your help, but the problem has not been solved for me. I have found that the video is recorded as VHS with too little light (therefore a lot of noise due to incorrect ISO and then played over to DVD.
That is why I have to close this case here, but if you want a feedback if it was to succeed, please do. You should not have an email address for the Adobe Support Community, or just one of them. I tried to write to them, but it came back stating that the addressee was unknown. I would have liked a few things with them!

What is your plan for using the footage? I'll just add that I generally just keep old footage like this "as is," meaning original size. Then I let the TV/bluray player do the upscaling. I found one VHS sample - terrible VHS quality, which I previously exported to H.264. It doesn't look any better than it ever did, but holds up well played back on a 65" UHD TV.
If I were mixing it into a higher resolution sequence, I would not try to get it all the way up to 1920x1080; let it have some black bars or other/blurred filler.

Hi Stan Jones.
Thanks for your email and questions. You ask me what I want to use the footage for and here's the explanation. It's a clitu for me and I've been calling for the video for about 20- 30 years and finally I managed, and with the help of others, to get hold of it. . The tape is a recording from an amateur scene and it was the play Anne Frank's Diary that was played. I had the lead role in the play, that was about 35 years ago. Therefore, I had a hope that the recordings could be made better, Unfortunately sounds like I must accept it as it is.
Yours sincerely
Mic
