I´m currently editing a file which Premiere seems to have trouble with importing into the timeline. If Im playing the fileoutside of premiere it works fine, if Im playing it insinde the source window of premiere it works fine. But if I drag the file into the timeline, weird stuff happens.

If im just playing the Video, the video starts jumping to the beginning again and again. Not to the beginng of the timeline, just inside the video. The audio keeps playing and the corsor keeps moving. Its like im watching a loop of the first ~40 Seconds. I switched the sequence setting to Quicktime, prores 422, 25 frames same problem. If the sequence is still in the "file settings", it also happens. I rendered two proxies, the first one repeatet itself after ~40 seconds aswell, the second repeatet itself roundabout at the half.

A few facts about the file:

Type: MPEG Movie

File Size: 589.18 MB

Image Size: 1920 x 1080

Frame Rate: 60.02

Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz - compressed - Mono

Project Audio Format: 44100 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Mono

Total Duration: 00;06;54;22
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0
Alpha: None
Video Codec Type: HEVC 4:2:0
Variable Frame Rate Detected

My Software:

Windows 10 Home Version 1803

Premiere Pro 13.1.4 (Also tried it with 12.1.2)
