Hide master audio track (and submix tracks) in timeline - possible?

Advisor ,

I don't need to keyframe my Master Track, or my Sub-Mix tracks, and so lock them in the timeline.

I would prefer to just 'hide' them - is this possible? (I think the answer is no, in which case I'll put a FR in)

Thanks

No there is no Hide function in Premiere.

But as Richard said you can reduce the height to a minimum (much narrow then in previous versions)

It would make a good Feature Request

This is a MUST feature and is available on Avid. I use submix tracks to route audio to different outputs all the time, to create stems of the edit. These tracks are often used to send audio to outputs 7&8 and then pan left so it is only on output 7. Editors do not need to control or change this, but it is required for functionality. It would make the timeline much neater if I can hide these tracks.

An upcoming large project I am working on requires the creation of an international audio mix, English audio mix, and full Dolby Atmos discreet audio (10 channels) all happening simultaenously, and to do this I am going to require up to 10 submix tracks. Long with the mix track, even at their smallest size this takes up a huge amount of screen real estate. If I coudl hide them this would make a huge difference.

https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro/suggestions/35176474-hide-timeline-trac... - is the FR that was 'disappeared' in the great culling of feature requests when 'uservoice' was silenced.

If you're doing immersive audio editing, using adaptive tracks with selective audio track mixer outputs - beware there is a bug (still in v24.3.0 BETA) where you have to remove the A16 output to have other mutes to work.

A1&2 only checked - works OK - passes A1&2
A3-A16 only checked - BAD - all 16 channels pass
A3-A15 only checked - A3-A15 pass.
