I have got two (2) Sony S x S cards ( BPAV ) folders that need to be copied into the same project . I am able to copy SxS card one but when I try to copy S x S card 2 into the very same project . . . . . . it completely erases the clips that have been copied in to the first BPAV folder.
I use the Sony Content Browser to copy my sxs files. In your case it looks like you have the same naming for both cards, try copying them to different folders on the target computer and then importing the files from there.
Content Browser has been superceded by Catalyst Browse, but the same principal applies.
You will have to create a second folder for the second card, e.g. put the BPAV for the first card in a folder Card1, the put the second BPAV in Card 2. Catalyst Browse forces you to do this rather than over-writing your first card files.
Catalyst Browser does not do all that the old content browser does. The old free Content Browser does not work with Win 10 but there is a paid for update that does.
