How do I export and share a Premiere Pro project with MOGRT's installed?

Hi all!

I have created a batch of motion graphic templates and other assets I want to package up and share with all video editors within my organisation. An older batch was created before my time here, but somehow, whoever created them, managed to create a shareable folder with all .mogrt files, alongside the .aegraphic files, where on opening the premiere project file within this folder the motion graphics were all automatically linked and no re-linking assets was needed.

Does anyone know how to create such a project? Do I need to create this through After Effects, or can it be done using Premiere Pro? I've tried using the Project Manager to export via Premiere, but the Premiere folder structure does not follow, it just exports out all files into one folder. I've also tested this solution - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emx1D48taPw - but when collecting the files via After Effects, it doesn't export out the mogrt or the aegraphic files.

Any help/support on this would be very very welcome!!

Richard

@Rashton

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to Premiere Pro.

The best way to do that is actually put the mogrts in a shared CC Library ... and make sure all staffers have access to that Library. It's a great way to distribute mogrts to anyone on the project, anywhere on the planet.

It's covered in Jarle's clear, concise, and free ebook via Adobe website on making and deploying mogrts ...

Hello  Richard,

You should try PlumePack ! It's a third party plugin for Premiere we develop at Autokroma. It's like a Project Manager but with more/different features, better report of what happens to the project and less issues. For the MOGRT's, PlumePack copies the files inside the new "PlumePacked" project and makes the replacement. It also detects media dependencies associated with the MOGRT.

If you are only using the Copy feature, you should not even need the "Premium" version of PlumePack, so the FREE version could be enough for your needs.

Give it a try ! Download and more info : https://www.autokroma.com/PlumePack

Best,

Nicolas from Autokroma

First, I'm a user of Autokroma's BRAW plugin, and I pay for it. Because it is simply a great process at a very reasonable cost. Vastly better and more reliable in operation than the freebie BRAW plugin from BlackMagic.

I first checked out their BRAW plugin because Nicolas F and Autokroma give better support for the BlackMagic plugin than BlackMagic does!

And Plumepack ... well, it also just works. And again, I don't get a dime from them, I've paid to use their products.
