How do I record from desktop and then create a video with voice using Adobe Premier pro.

I wish to record some quick video showcasing some presentations and screenshots from my desktop. What Adobe application should I use to capture and then edit the video. can this be done in Premier Pro. I am a windows user.

don't think there's an adobe app that does it.  do some googling for windows screen recording.  but many screen recording programs do not record with a constant frame rate which premiere will sometimes have problems with.  You can use a third party app called handbrake to convert to a constant frame rate.  https://handbrake.fr

I'm on a mac, and I use a program called camtasia (which is also available for windows).  It's not the most intuitive program but it does a great job.  and unfortunately it's not free...

and you can use the "voice over record" button in the timeline to record your voice over directly to your timeline.
