How to add a border to a cropped clip?

Community Beginner ,

Hi there,

My project includes multi-track video clips, visually cropped and playing side by side. I'd like to add borders to the cropped clips to increase clarity. Is there a way to do this easily? It seems like I may have to add a shape with a border on top of every clip (I'd like to avoid this if I can).

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

Yes, you can create a shape with no fill and just a stroke, then put that on top of the video and strech it out over the whole portion of timeline it would apply to.
