How to change Multi-camera angle for all selected clips?

I have a video that uses multi-camera.

Currently, I can easily change each clip camera angle by using shortcuts or by selecting the camera from the multi-camera panel.

Problem is:

I would love to select two or more clips and change the camera on all of them.

For instance, in the image, if I select all clips, right-click and select: "Multi-Camera > Camera 1" it only changes the camera for the clip below the playhead, not to all the clips I had selected. 

I've searched all over the internet, but didn't find a solution to change the camera angle for all selected clips. Is there any way to achieve it?

It works for me. I have to select shots with shift-clicks , then use a keyboard shortcut for selecting the camera as in the screenshot below (I changed mine around). It also worked as you indicated with the right-click to select the camera. I'm on Win11 and PP24.1, you?

This is not a recent problem for me.

I am also on Win 11 and PP24.1.

What is your exactly workflow?

1. Select all the clips you want to change the cam.

2. Right click and select the camera (or use num keyboard)

3. *Magic* It changes the cam for all selected clips?

Yes, I do have the multi-cam view open in the program monitor. Lassoing and select, then right-click/multi-cam and the camera you want, and also my regular shortcuts. I don't know for the numeric keypad. The numbers by default are assigned to the row of number on top of  a PC keyboard

It also works if I lasso a bunch of clips next to each other - like in your screenshot.

Unfortunately, I still didn't find a way to achieve it.

And I don't think this something specific to my computer, as I changed computed and OS. It seems to me this is the default behavior of Premiere Pro.

I'm on 25.0 now, and I'm having inconsistent results at best.

Inconsistent is definitely the word for it! It seems to behave differently for every project I do! Some allow you to change the angle of all clips at once, others don't. It's very strange.

So I just spent 25 minutes playing with it and was about to report it doesn't work now in 24.5 or beta, then I came back to post and fully read my comments above and it does work the same as before. You have to use a shortcut to select a camera, clicking on the camera angle you want in the Multicam monitor does not work. Also, right-clicking a selected track and selecting a camera from there also works.

None of these options work for me. When I select a new camera (either via keyboard shortcuts or right-clicking and selecting the camera there), it only changes the clip under the playhead, not all of the clips that I've selected. This worked fine in the previous version of Premiere.

Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry, I don't, as it's working for me. Did you try with the time indicator of a clip, select that and some clips next to it by dragging a box around them, then clicking a  shortcut for the different camera angle, and they all change to that angle for me.

Yeah, I've tried that and still no luck! Looks like it's yet another random Adobe bug that only affects some users.

To change the angle of multiple multi-camera source sequences, make sure your selection does not include any other clips. In the example provided, both the multicam and audio are selected, which won't work for changing angles.

Including your synced audio in your multicam sequences can help avoid issues like this, but also makes it easier to manage your audio and video together on the timeline.

Turns out if you have anything other than the multicam clips selected (including the audio), it doesn't work. It seems strange that premiere can't figure out what you're trying to do when you have the MC clips and audio selected, but that's just typical Adobe and their infinite wisdom.
