I've seen several articles on the internet about creating arrows with "title" that involve lots of manual steps. I current use snagit to create arrows and then include the updated png in my timeline but it's awkward. Is there an easy way with Premiere to create arrows like in my image below to create arrows as titles? I'd like to create them of different sizes, different head sizes, sometimes straight, sometimes bendy, sometimes double ended, sometimes single ended. It would be a huge help for me that now involves a bunch of out of band updating for me.

I would use the Pentool for the curve and the Wedge Tool for the arrowhead.
You can even distort the arrowhead under the Properties.
Then save them as Templates.

Thanks Ann. I see the pen tool in my left side toolbox (title), but not the Wedge tool. How do I get that? Also, could you post a couple words about "save as template". I think everyone but me knows what a template is and how to save one. -thanks again.

To add to what Ann just supplied . . .
Switch to the Titles workspace at the top of the screen. Double-click your title clip to load it in the Title panel. On the right side of the screen you'll see some panels. One of them is called Title Tools. The Wedge tool is there:
To save a particular title as a template, first have your title loaded in the Title panel. Click the Templates button in the toolbar in the panel:
That will open the Templates dialog box. Now click the settings ("pancake") menu in the upper right of the dialog box to see your choices. The first one, Import Current Title as Template will allow you to give your current title a name and load it as a template for future use. (I don't know why it's not called something more obvious like "Save Current Title as Template" but oh well.)
Here is more information on the title tool: Create and edit titles in Premiere Pro
This video tutorial steps you through the steps I outlined above: Create and edit titles in Premiere Pro
Hope this helps!

I'm having trouble getting my wedge to be a nice arrow head. Is there a trick to making it a clean triangle I can rotate? Also, any way to get the pen tool to make a line that goes 90 degrees into the wedge head?

Hey Peter, how about this one! I think it looks alot like your original arrow, so I'm guessing you have the same software with a good arrow creator. The below is in PP as you can see the timeline and is with the raw picture above (I removed the arrow only) and then with the arrow above it.

I made the arrow in SnagIt, the screen capture utility. It looks like the arrows you have in the original post.
I was playing last night with the pen/wedge tool and it kinda works, but kind-of a hassle too.
In the SnagIt editor I created a 'new' file, and just put an arrow in it as I like, saved it as a PNG because it has a transparent background, and dropped it into a PP project. You can adjust the scale, position, rotation as you like, and it even has a shadow on it from SnagIt. You can do double-pointer arrows also, like in your OP.
