I have just installed Premiere Pro CC 2017 last night on the Windows 10/64 but machine I have built.
I have been using CS6 up until now on my old Windows 7 machine and had a 58 Min project I created with it recently
As a test just to see how the new version got on with CS6 projects I imported it and more or less things went well
There were two main issues flagged, lack of Fonts which I fixed straight away and a Report that 3 Audio effects I used within CS6 on some poor Audio Clips were no longer in Premiere Pro CC 2017. These are Reverb/De-Noiser/Spectral Noise Reducer. I have not used these widely and only on a couple of clips which seemed to improve the clips in the CS6 project.
So - these have disappeared in the new version - so what do I do instead?. The guy on 'Chat' said use Adobe Audition - but I have never used that. It would be good to have a list of features no longer in the latest Premiere CC 2017 and have web links to simple tutorials as work arounds - or new alternative features that can fix the issue.
I find you can spend hours on forums searching for fixes and a bit of help for those upgrading to new versions would be welcome - I searched on Forums for the above but found nothing?.
Anyone who can help me out on ways to improve audio clips as per above on the new version would be appreciated !. Thanks

Upgrading from CS6 to CC2017 is a huge step. Dont expect documentation on what is gone rather what has been added.
If you look in the Obselete audio effects folder you missing effects.
The are still fully functional but will be deleted from the program somewhere in the future.

If you hit F1 it will bring you to the support page.
Hit User Guide and look up the New Features Summery.
Do the same for previous versions such as CC, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Thank you for your speedy reply & input.
Maybe I should set myself different expectations to those I have as a past Development Manager in the Telecomms world. We had to pay great attention to what was removed from products as well as shiny new features. For those features removed we had to ensure we had work-arounds for customers that often used quite obscure features.
This issue of the 3 audio effects , at the end of the day is not a big deal, and when I have a some time I will open up Audition to see what it has to offer for future purposes.
I still maintain that in the Development phase were features are removed, it is not too much to ask for Software documentation to include a brief overview of suggested 'new ways' of achieving the same result within the new product itself (if at all possible) or explanatory links to use other packages...
