Hi!

We ran into problems latly with having our Premiere projects on OneDrive.

The MOGRT were our main problem as we ran into "unknown exception errors" when loading them in. Our solve - relocate the scratch disk for the MOGRT to local.

Now we have the problem that when somebody else is trying to open the project, the person cannot open/ find the MOGRT as Premiere can only link the new .aegraphic files it puts on the scratch disk.

Is there a way to get Premiere to link the MOGRT file to the missing .aegraphic?

Hi @Lavish_Captain6472,

I'm a little unclear of what's going on or what's missing and where, but what I think is happening is:

The Motion Graphics Templates scratch disk and the Mogrts in the Essential Graphics panel/Graphics Templates panel are not the same. The Motion Graphics Templates scratch disk is for the aegraphics inside of the mogrt to be unpacked and read by Premiere Pro. The Essential Graphics panel/Graphics Templates panel by default reads a local location of mogrts, so each user can't access what is not on their own computer.

  • If this is what's happening, whoever the primary computer who still has these mogrts available can add them to the cloud storage. The mogrts are located in the local directory, copy them from here to cloud storage:
    • Windows: root ://Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Common/Motion Graphics Templates/
    • Mac: username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Motion Graphics Templates/
  • Then each user should add Additional Folder by clicking the plus symbol on the right and set it to the cloud location.

  • Alternately, Libraries are good for this type of workflow too. Create a new Library in the Libraries panel. Then multi-select all of the mogrts, right click, and select Copy to Library. In the Creative Cloud app, give library permissions to each user. (Files > Your libraries > Invite People)

Let me know if that does or doesn't solve your issue.

Cheers,

Theresa
