Hi there

I have a clip, 25 FPS, 32 frames long, showing a hand laying down a jigsaw puzzle piece. The jig saw puzzle piece is transparent (example 1) and underneath it I have another clip that I want to follow the EXACT movements of the jig saw puzzle piece so that it appears as if the underlying clip is projected on the piece (example 2). How do I do that?

I’ve tried to make a frame-by-frame adjustment of the underlying clip by using position, scale and rotation, but I can’t make that accurate enough. I would appreciate any tips and tricks.Example 1Example 1Example 2Example 2

I think this is best done using tracking in After Effects.
