how to remove text from mp4 video

hi all,

i have a mp4 video of 30 seconds.

the video has a text appearing on left side and bottom of the video.

i want to remove that text using premiere but im very new to video editing.

any steps of "how to do" or guidance will be great help.

While not easy in the best of circumstances, depending on what you have, and what you need to do, there are some possibilities, and one might help.

First, I would attach a screen-cap of the that Video. You might need to post a couple, if things change dramatically in the Frame. No promises, but there might be some options.

However, if you can take Jim's suggestion, and get the footage without the Text, things will be so much easier.

Also, do you have access to Adobe After Effects?

How about Photoshohop Extended, CS 6, or CC?

If it cannot be done in PrPro (fewer Tools to employ), it might be possible in AE, or Ps (through Rotoscoping).

Let us see what you have, and someone will try to help, though remember that the answer might be just as CC_Merchant says, "No."

The text is an inherent part of the video. It can not be separated. It can be overlaid with other material.

For a quick fix, resize the video using the motion effects until the text is no longer visible.

Yes, the video will degrade, but job done.

The long way is to rotoscope the text out frame by frame in Photoshop, long tedious but possible.

I was approaching the problem with some sort of "replacement," of the pixels that comprise the Text.

Might be simple - or might not.

You cannot remove the text.

Simple solution is to add a blurred shape over the text.

I think the best but hardest solution is using Adobe Potoshop, this method is when you open the video and with the timeline move frame by frame and using the spot healing tool to remove the text frame after frame quite a tedious work for a long video.

ok here is a possible way wich is much easire than photoshope maybe this will work by useing mask and cromakey on text color and a maske you creat on that text part as rectangular shape so that you dont need to track that mask it will stay there for ever so you cromakey mask layer on text u grab color by useing color key then you make solide color youll put in in buttom layer then you can change the color of that solide lyer same color that area has with keyframe it will be done so fast so u dont need to do that frame by frame

Well, I got some like cattle footage from Rawhide, but the text is in the very middle, and it's very big! I tried a few websites to clear the text, but it didn't seem accurate enough. It showed like a bar, which does nothing but cover the entire middle section where I could see the rest of the image. Someone please help me out here!

If it was me and this was important,  I would use photoshop on a per frame basis to build a mask over the text and use the generative fill to remove the mask that is shaped aroudn the text on each frame of the video...  or wait until this feature is native to Premier pro.  no need for rotoscoping and all the other more complex and conventional ways.
