Hi Adobe Community,
I am new to premiere pro and have downloaded some transition packs from Envato and other sources.
The issue that I am having is that when I drag and drop the transition onto my timeline, the preset transition file plays over top of my original footage, instead of morphing the original footage into the transition's motion.
I'd really appreciate a step by step on how to ensure that the default transition image-video does not display. (I need the transition-motion, but I only want to see my footage, not the preset-stock-background images from the transition developer).
Thank you all in advance.

Transition packs usually come with instructions.
If the pack has stock images you replace that with your own footage.

Thank you.
I have lots of my own footage that I can put onto the timeline, where I'm lost is how to replace the stock transition images with my own video-images.
Right now, when you drag and drop a multi-layer transition onto the footage, it just overrides the footage and presents the transition with the stock-preset images.
Tutorial is below.

What are those yellow clips? Adjustment layers?
Difficult to say what to do as these transition packs all work different.
You will have to upload one for me to see what is inside.
If you dont want to upload on the forum you can PM me.

Your own clip(s) should be on track 1, then when you have the timeline setup as in the first 2 panels of the screen you uploaded, V1 = OFF, (not blue) and Insert / Overwrite Sequence as Nest... = OFF (not blue) then drag in your transition. When you leave the bottom most track targeted the transition carries in the preview footage, thus why you turn v1 off.
