How to see multicam edits in the composite sequence?

I was wondering if there's a way to see my nested multicam edits within its corresponding composite sequence, as right now I can only see the synced clips in full in the composite.

The reason is that I'm co-editing with someone who's used to composite editing.

Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Proper terminology would help.

The Source Sequence is the sequence containing all the original media. The Target Sequence is where you nest your Source Sequence and what you edit in. Composite view applies to the Program or Source Monitors. It's accessed via the wrench underneath.

To be clearer: Is there a way to translate the editing info from the nested multicam sequence back to the corresponding unnested clips/sequences?

Right now when I command double click on the multicam sequence, it takes me to the corresponding composite sequence but without any of my edits applied.

My supervising editor is unfamiliar with PPro's multicam function and needs the see my edits in a composite sequence in order to edit, and I'm trying to research how to go about this.

Automatically? No. You'd have to Match Frame every cut and manually duplicate them in the Source Sequence. (Though, I'm not sure why you'd want that.)

Also, there is no "composite sequence" in PP. Composite only refers to a viewing option in the Monitor. For multicam, there is a Source and a Target sequence. So I'm still confused on exactly what you're looking for here.

Alas for this, since my editing supervisor wants to see all my multicam edits in the source sequences. I've nested 3 sequences and made all my edits in the multicam sequence.

What would be a possible time-efficient solution to this problem since she wants to see all the source sequences unnested in layers with my edits?

Why though? There's no real use for that.

Well that is something different and very easy to accomplish. Select the nested clips, right click and choose Multi-Camera>Flatten.

Looks like they are used to editing 'Tetris style' with cam 4 on V4 etc

i think you could possibly manage this (assuming 4xcams and that your Mcam edit is all on V1)

a. Find & select all cam 4 clips in timeline, alt&up arrow to move to v4

b. Repeat for c3 to v3 and c2 to v2

c. Select all clips & 'flatten' (optional)

Audio might prove trickier. Also I couldn't find a way of 'Finding' individual cameras in the timeline it doesn't search original clip metadata, only the metadata of the MCam sequence. And it won't find '[MC2]' for example.
