Hello, community! I have to make a delivery to Spectrum and they require videos to be formatted as XDCAM HD 422 but have an .MOV container.
The question is simple: How do?
Doesn't seem to be a straightforward way of making that spec in premiere or ME

I don't think you can do that for now directly in Premiere Pro, maybe on a mac version but I'm on PC. Heard about something called " Calibrated Q". Have a look.

As far as I know - no longer possible directly from Preimere Pro as riklard says. Even on Mac.
Running an older Mac OS (Sierra in my case) it is still possible to export/convert XDCam into a .mov container from Final Cut Pro 7 or via QuickTime Player 7 - both of which will not work on latest MacOS.

Can it be done in Media Encoder? Or is this something I'll have to use a third party encoder like Handbrake for?

If you cannot do this in Pr you can obvious not do this in AME (which is basicly the same) either.
Handbrake only makes mp4 and mkv.

Shutter Encoder (free soft) can do just that - rewrap your xdcamto mov
