Than it might have been hidden file in your PC, so try searching with hidden files visible in windows or the project might have been stored in external drive.
Also try looking into the Users > Your Username > Documents > Adobe > Premiere pro folder.

This was very helpful, I must say that it would make sense to make it part of the program it's self to be able to see cleanly in one place all of your work. That said, I am glad you helped my find it. May the tech gods smile on you today.

If you're on Windows, my guess - like others have said - is that it was on an external hard drive. That would explain why it can't be found.
Another possibility is that if you were saving files to the desktop and were logged in as a different user before.

Hi fatimaha49944392,
Surely you have been working all in an external hard drive, perhaps without realizing it. If so, connect any device you've had mounted while doing your editing and try to open the projects again.
