Hello everyone.
This is my first time posting on the forums.
I have Adobe Premier Pro CS6
A MacBook Air 2014 Model
And a GoPro Hero 5
I recently went on holiday and recorded the majority of my clips in 60FPS, I thought this would be a good idea when it comes to editing my videos, if I ever wanted to slow it down.
However, my Mac cannot edit 60FPS videos very well, while attempting to edit the video, its always choppy and laggy, which doesn't make editing possible.
Nonetheless editing a 30FPS video is very do-able, not much hassle.
And after a fair bit of ''googling'' for a solution, I think my problem is this - my Mac cannot handle editing at this frame rate level.
Could someone please advise my best option?
Is there software that can convert my video from 60FPS to 30FPS/29.97FPS?
Thank you for your help!
And of course, I would hate to convert the video and potentially loose quality.

Hi everyone.
Never mind, I used HandBrake to convert the video to a lower FPS, thus fixing my issue.
Thanks
