Its 3AM right now but please anyone who see's this I SAVED MY PROJECT then closed it but I wanted to change something quickly so I go to open up the project and it says drag media to create sequence... IT LITERALLY ERASED THE SEQUENCE I WAS WORKING ON...
I am double clicking the sequence part but nothing is helping ... Someone please help

MIght want to do some housekeeping too. Your project is buried way deep in auto save folders.

Take another look at the image Ann posted. There is your solution. Set the Project panel to List View for a better view of the assets.

You are either doing it wrong or are using so many different project files for one (1) project so you have lost track of which one are the one you work in. For some reason you have tons of project files spread in several folders for GO BIG LYRIC VIDEO and the more you have, the easier it is to lost track of everything. This is a recepie for disasters.
To open a Timeline in an existing project:
1. Open the project you are working with.
2. In the Project panel, double click on the Timeline.
If that fails, you have to manually open upp each and single project based on the date they were created to find the timeline you are looking for.
This is the icon you are looking for to indicate that it is a timeline:
