What to you mean by "lost your sequence"?

Is it no longer in your project?

Is it in your project but not connected to the ingested media (media showing offline in the sequence)?

Are you asking why this happened?

It is unlikely you were told to "delete your footage".

Maybe "clear" it or "offline it"  from the existing project. (ie Bins)

How did you delete it?
