I can't seem to make the dialog pop. Either I go to File > Import or from the project panel right click IMPORT, and nothing. I don't see a window popping up so I can pick my media. Please help.

It's trying to bring up "Finder", which could be just a stuck process. Have you tried to reboot your computer?

Yes, I have reboot the macbook.
Everything works fine in "safe mode" but not in normal mode.
Im guessing this is a Catalina issue with all the new permissions.

Multiple displays?
Select one of the default Workspaces, then Window\Workspaces\Reset to Default Layout.
See if that helps, otherwise, you might try trashing your preferences (setting them all to default).

Unreal. I saw the Blue Reply button on all the posts now and figured that we were done with the nested replies. But it looks like they are still nested, and now there is no distinction from the top Reply button.

Yes, I do but I have tried with only one and I still have the same issue. I talked to Apple support because I thought this was related to permissions from Catalina sov after a reinstall Of the OS I still have the issue. They ran diagnostics and a log for their engineers to review. I'm stuck.
