Hi everyone,
I tried to import files in Premiere Pro (MPEG-4 / QuickTime / ProRes 422 HQ) on Windows. When I import I've only the sound but not the image.
I tried to transcode in H264, MPEG-2, DPX or DNx but I've only black image and no sound.
How can I import my files ?
Thanks for your help.
Edouard
Problem solved ! I re-downloaded clips and rigth now it works... I don't know what was the problem... Maybe my first download corrupted...

That's not correct, Premiere Pro on Windows has ingested ProRes for some time / versions now. cc2019 added the ability to export to prores also.

I work with ProRes daily, as do many. So something is odd in your rig or those clips.
What created that media? How are you importing into Premiere? Does it have image if you're in the Project panel in thumbs mode, or in the Source monitor?
And for information about the media files, the free download of MediaInfo is used a lot. After installing and getting an icon on your desktop, simply drag/drop a clip onto the icon. Then go to view and select Tree view. Make a screengrab of the video section and include that in your reply.

Neil, first thanks for your answer 🙂
I edited 14 clips for a pub and I recovered the files after the calibration.
It's Ok for 4 files with same properties as the 10 other files.
I import medias with right click.
I've no image when I import. Only the sound image in green and when I play the file I've an error message : "impossible to import the video .... : the file uses an unsupported compression type"
Importation OK

If it gives a black screen there is no point in transcoding with AME.
Post screenshot of file in Mediainfo in treeview.
Mgrenadier: 2019 added export. Import has been around for quite a while at least cs6.
