Hey everybody, I'm trying to import an XML from Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 into Premiere Pro 2017.
I'm getting an error. I forget what it says exactly, something about media being outdated.
I've been back and forth with support. We've tried using an earlier version of Premiere, and importing into Davinci Resolve,
with no luck. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

when I try to import into Premiere pro i get "the importer reported a generic error" and I'm not able to import and translate my FCP7 project. Can you please help?!

Hi barbaradaly,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Is it possible to share the XML file with us by uploading it to Creative Cloud & DM the link?
Thanks,
Vidya.

I got that message on stills that were in CMYK colour. as soon as I changed the colourspace of the still to RGB in Photoshop, they would import.
