I'm not totally new to Premiere Pro, but I just got it again after some time away. When I went to use it for the first time the video clips I imported playback like a bad movie where the audio and video are off my as much as two seconds. When I preview the video clips in Quicktime, they are synched. Put them on the timeline and they are not. Can someone tell me what's going on and how I can fix it?

I may have found my problem. My clips were MTS files and apparently Premiere Pro doesn't like them anymore. I used to use them all the time and they were awesome, but what ever. If you have any other insights that can help me going forward, I won't mind some advice.
