Hi community
My MacBook Pro was recently reset to diagnose a problem (of oxidation). That seems to have reset my Mac, and that seems to have updated my Adobe Premier Pro 2020 to the 2025 version which prevents me from editing project. Tried everything to te Connect to my original recordings. Any urgent tips ir number to call in London?

Wow, 'oxidation' as in physically corroding, what, internal parts, connectors, etc?
Using 2025 on a 2020 project is typically OK, what problem are you having? Project not loading, once loaded, can't add new clips or move objects around? A little more detail.
Perhaps some OS file permisions you set in the past, need to be reset?

For support from Adobe you are best off contacting support through web chat and opening a case. When you first contact support ask for Video support group queue. If necessary they can call you back.
In the meantime, can you clarify what you mean by 'recordings'. Are you referring to the actual project edit files or encoded edited videos you have created from the 2020 premiere version?.
When you try to open a project it should ask you if you want to convert it to a 2025 version file.
This should then load up as @MyerPj has said.
Do you get any errors reported complaining Premiere can't find specific media you used for the edit?
A bit more detailed explanation from you on what exactly goes wrong will help us help you.
Is all your data on just one hard disk ?

Well, it's just as I guessed, an OS permissions issue. Did you try to "Continue..."?

So, on the project screen you set the Scratch Disk locations. It seems like that project has a location that is currently not available or possibly set to Read Only. You gotta fix this.. and maybe even create the needed folders. Though usually PP will adjust to non-existent folders.
