Is it possible to read timecode written in audio track (Premiere Pro CC 2018)?

Hello,

On one project we use cameras and recordes, which can´t use timecode itself, so we wrote timecode track using external device to left/ or right channel of audiotracks.

So after shooting I got some audio and video tracks, where in left channel is normal audio and in the other channel should be some timecode information (which sounds like "bzzzz"), is there any way, without using external programs, how to read the timecode information from this audio noise track and somehow set it to the whole file?

Thanks a lot,

Matej

Not that I know of. This is a feature that Avid has had for years.

If you did want an external programme, other than Avid, to ‘read audio timecode’ then https://www.videotoolshed.com/product/ltc-convert-auxtc/ might work

Reading audio time code as part of the sync workflow inside Premiere should be in Adobe's JDI que.

Adobe can not read timecode in an Audio track, this been asked loads of times to put into premiere but its not on the list.

We use Tentacle for that. to syn audio and video.
