Is it worth exporting video with audio settings at higher rates?

Hello,
the original audio captured in my project is 96000Hz and 24-bits per sample, which is pretty high quality although I have no technical idea about what it really means. Should I keep these audio settings when exporting the final file? The default settings of Premiere are always 48kHz and 16-bit.

Using higher audio settings, like 96 kHz and 24-bit, is typically only necessary for professional workflows, especially if you’re collaborating with sound mixers or preparing a master file. Most final exports don’t need audio at these settings unless they’re meant for archiving or creating other compressed versions later.

For everyday projects or platforms like YouTube or social media, sticking to something like 48 kHz and 16-bit is more than enough. It keeps the quality high while making file sizes more manageable for sharing and playback.
