Is there a limit to how long a video can be? Both for importing into Premiere, as well as exporting

I'm new to Premiere Pro and before making the purchase, I wanted to check on this. Probably the most important part of what I'll be using this for is simple editing of very lengthy videos (easily between 5 and 8 hours in length). Is there a limit to the size of what I can export? I want to be sure I can import long videos into the program and then, after editing, export them without having to cut down much of their length. It's an important part of what I'd need this for. Thanks so much in advance for any help with this question!

Just to be sure it will work for you, what are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Here are the minimum requirements, but you may need more that this depending upon your media:

Thank you so much for responding so quickly! My specs are:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor (32 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 131072MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 130996MB RAM
Page File: 16971MB used, 133481MB available

I think that side of things shouldn't be an issue, but by all means, correct me if I'm mistaken. I'm just relieved to hear the time limit is actually quite substantial. That's the biggest limitation I've run into while searching for editor options.

Is the C drive an SSD?

You will only want to use the HDD for archiving and/or backup or exports if you aren't in a hurry.

Place your media and cache on the E drive.

Yes, the C drive is an SSD. Should I still place my media on the E drive, or is it okay either way since they're both SSDs? Thank you, by the way. You're being so helpful and I really appreciate you taking the time to be thorough!

It's usually better to keep the operating system and your media on separate drives (in the very rare case of operating system failure, you'll still have your projects and media safe on a different drive).

Plus, with videos, that 164 GB of free space on C will fill up in no time.

So yeah, keep your media, projects, and cache on E.
