One two of three tracks I'm seeing "join through edit" grayed out.
I know 100% these are through edits I'm attempting to joing, but I can make a cut in a piece of the affected audio track and then right click and see "join through edit" not available. The third track of audio I still can join through edits on...
Anyone experiance this or know what to do?

If the clips have been trimmed, it won't allow through edits.

Try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/...
If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html
If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.
If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)
If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

None of these have worked. This problem only just popped up for me today.
I make a brand new cut and still I cannot do a Join Through Edit.

If you go to the Timeline Display Settings wrench and enable Show Through Edits, does it show white bow ties over the edit?
Cheers,
Paul

Hi there - I'm not the person who asked the original question - but im having the same problem. There are no bow ties appearing over any of the clips in my sequence when I enable Show Through Edits. When I add in new clips, I can razor and join through edit as normal on those (the same original video files). But all of the existing clips on my timeline, I can't. I don't think its worth attempting to replace them all at this stage. Do you have any advice?

On every cut I was getting a dupe frame and no edit through sign as I know it should be there. Changing my sequence setting to 24 fps as my footgae, solved the problem. But I dont want to change my sequence settings...
