Linked video and audio won't move together

Community Beginner ,

  • Issue - Linked video and audio won't move together. Have had this for months now after a PR update
  • Adobe Premiere Pro version number: Version 25.0.0 (Build 61)
  • Operating system - macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
  • System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:
    • Apple M3 Max 64 GB unified ram, internal SSD
  • Video format: irrelevant to this issue, happens with multiple projects
  • Workflow details: irrelevant, happens with multiple projects, any video/audio
  • Steps to reproduce - (Very important!) Dragging any video or audio, won't move its linked video or audio counterpart
  • Expected result - linked video and audio should move together
  • Actual result - linked video and audio don't move together

Hi @sinadolati,

I read your bug report. Thank you for the screen movie. I noticed that the Link Selection button is not enabled. It's located on the upper left of the timeline panel. Can you try clicking the button and then dragging your clips? Let me know if that helps. Sorry always for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

**ALSO: IMPORTANT** the blade tool doesn't cut both linked video and audio together, as it should - or any other functions that should happen tas a result of video and audio being linked. There is simpley an added [V] when you link an audio and video, without any of the functions.
