After adding the Lumetri Color to a video clip, I am adjusting things in the effects control panel, but nothing is happening to the clip (in either the Source or Project panel).... something seems off. The exposure slider tops out at 7, and still no difference in the clip. This has to be something really silly I am overlooking, right?
Thank you both for your help... I have no idea what it was, but I just uninstalled Premiere Pro and reinstalled, and it works again!
Just wish I found out why it did that!

I wish it was that.... it is not muted. It only seems to be happening to Lumetri. All other Video Effects show right away in the Source window. But Lumetri, once added, shows all of the values and sliders, but no effect shows in the Source. To be honest, the Lumetri controls now has an "AUTO" button above the RESET button, and I don't know if that was there before.

Auto button is what it is: It takes an educated guess on how the footage suppose to look like.

So why can't I see any changes when I tweak the sliders and options in Lumetri? The auto button is not preventing me from seeing the changes, is it? Like I had said, in the past, I could slide the "exposure" way up, brightening the image.... when I move any sliders, nothing happens. If I move the exposure slider up, it stops at "7"..... in the past, I could go way higher than 7. It still feels like I am just overlooking something, since everythiung else is working fine in the program.

This is 2022.5 version?
Source panel does not show effects applied.
Exposure slider goes up to 5 but that is irrelevant.
Are you sure the Fx icon in not disabled in the ECP.
Post screenshots if possible.

Dont see any adjustments applied, all is 00.
Then that is correct that you are not seeing anything.
Open the Lumetri Color Panel and go from there.
If i were to press Auto I would see this

Now I see, you have lumetri applied as source clip effect.
Delete the source clip effect and add it as a regualar effect.

I do have the effect on the Source clip, which I have always done. I typically don't add the effects into the sequence/timeline clips..... and this was never a problem before. Is this what you are referring to?

No clue why you're adding that as a drag/drop effect rather than simply using the Lumetri panel in the Color workspace. In the Color workspace, tap the Source tab under the Lumetri title at the top of the panel. And then anything you do in the Lumetri panel is auto-applied to the Source settings of the clip.
And it works fine here ... so yea, trying to figure out what's off in your situation.

What are you seeing? What media do you have on the sequence? What is the clip and sequence color management settings?
And you're sure that "global effects mute" listed in a post above isn't toggled on?

Start a new thread. Give full details on your OS, hardware, media, and other effects.
Give a detailed explanation of what you're doing, what you expect to see, and what happens instead.
Drag/drop a couple screengrabs illustrating what you're seeing onto your text reply box.
And from that, I'm sure we can get you going.
