I have created a lut by using a lut generator. When I apply this lut to footage in PR or AE, it doesn't look the same as the LR one; it kind of becomes cartoonish and glitchy. Please health me

Which LUT generator did you use? Lattice, LUTCalc, what?
You say "LR" ... if that is Lightroom, understand Lightroom works in a very different color space than Premiere/AfterEffects do. So things applied in Lightroom, to a still or video clip, in A-RGB will not transfer "the same" to a clip in Pr/Ae, being processed for Rec.709 in sRGB color space with the display transform applied.
And past that, we would need to see your entire color management settings ... Color workspace, Lumetri panel, Settings tab ... the one named Settings. Where all of the Pr color management controls can be found.
Screengrabs drag/dropped directly into this text reply box are best.

So the next thing is the steps you're going through. As asked above are you working with LightRoom also?
I'd like a detailed step-by-step of what you do, and which tools you use in whatever app, to create your image change that the LUT generator uses to create the LUT.
And then what you have Pr's color management set to, and what you are applying to, and what you get in Pr.
