Premiere was working great and then the update to v22.3 bricked the export feature.  Locks up exporting any project.  I had to move the project to my iMac Pro to export it.  My Macbook Pro M1 Max will not export anything.

Some M1s are having this issue with 22.3, and need to go back to 22.2 to export for now.

Others aren't having the trouble ... so it's a frustrating puzzle at the moment.

Hi there!

Sorry about that. Do you see any error codes or messages? Does it happen on a specific project?

Would you mind sharing a screen recording that shows the issue?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

I dont see any error messages.  For the last 4 weeks I have been editing 1 - 2 Hour training virtual modules for Associalation of Fire Cheifs.  They send me the screen recordings and power points and I cut the virtual content together they play back. The last 4 shows not problem at all with the mixed frame rate capures. When I cut yester days content everything worked great until exporing to vimeo 1080 or quicktime.  Status just locks like in the pic and then beach balls premiere.  Have to force quite. I went back and opened previous projects and same thing happens.

I'm also having this exact same issue, but I have a PC with an AMD Ryzen 3900x cpu. Went to export my h.264 video (and audio MP3 only as well) today and it keeps freezing and locks up the export. Both Premiere export and Media Encoder export do this. I've reverted both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder to version 22.2 and this works, but know that your issue is not just on Apple M1 chips!
