Hello all.

Can anyone direct me to a video, or walk me through, how to take three longer words in a title sequence such as Mikes Pest Control, display them on screen, and then shrink all the words together at the end of the title sequence to leave only MPC? Does that make sense? I appreciate any and all help!

As is so often there are many ways in Premiere and even more so in After Effects to do this effect. I have done a version using the title tool and basic motion effects:

Here is a link to the project that will give you an idea of how it was done.

To achieve the effect you're describing shrinking a title sequence like "Mike's Pest Control" into the acronym "MPC" you can use video editing software like Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Create the Title: Start by adding the full text ("Mike's Pest Control") to your timeline. Position it in the center of the screen.

  2. Animate the Text: Use the keyframe animation feature to gradually shrink the full text over time. You can animate the scale or use a masking effect.

  3. Reveal the Acronym: Place "MPC" on a separate layer. As the full text shrinks and fades out, have "MPC" fade in or appear with a zoom effect.

  4. Timing: Ensure the transition is smooth by aligning the shrinking of the full text with the appearance of the acronym.

If you’re new to this process, look for tutorials specific to the software you're using. Many online resources or video walkthroughs cover basic text animation techniques.

For other professional services like Commercial Termite Control, it’s equally important to have visually appealing branding that can help make your business stand out, much like your idea for the acronym animation!
