Maxon Universe Transitions Not Working in PP22

New Here ,
Dec 07, 2021 Dec 07, 2021

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone's Maxon Universe Transitions are working in Premiere Pro 2022. Ever since I've updated the transitions are no longer showing, yet I can find them in After Effects. They also don't appear in Da Vinci Resolve.

I'm editing on a 2021 M1 MAX Macbook Pro and just wondering if this is an Adobe issue, a Maxon issue, or just my computer being quite new? Let me know!

Hi Everyone! Discovered the problem. So Maxon transitions are treated as extensions which are no longer supported for M1 computers. To use them I had to open Premiere using Rosetta 2 by right-clicking the application > get info > open using Rosetta - not ideal but at least it works now

My RG full suite is working fine on my Win10 rig. But ... I had to go through Maxon support for a day or two to get it all working correctly with their new app manager.

I would suggest getting a ticket with Maxon support.

Again, get Maxon support. They have a particularly "rigorous" check-in system for their plugins. And it gets cranky and uncooperative if all it's requirements aren't met, and we users don't have a clue what's going on inside it.
