Hi,
I'm on the latest PP CC 12.0.1, first had the spinning wheel of death when scrolling through clips in media browser, so I disabled the Hover Scrub option like said in another thread and it's been working ok so far. Though it would be great to NOT have to do that.
Now, some subfolders are missing and clips inside a folder are missing also, I mean that they are not displayed. Clips are there on the hard drive. I have to manually
import them (right click, import) instead of scrolling and selecting the ones I want through media browser.
Only on certain folders this happens... not all of them.
Thanks for the help
EDIT: I'm iOs High Sierra 10.13.3
Actually hadn't noticed but the little eye beside the funnel was automatically set to display Cinema DNG, changed it to directory viewer and files are back... 🙂 Weird that only certain folders were like this.
Thanks for the help!

So far it seems that it's only folders that contain DJI .mp4 files. Though some are working, but a lot aren't.
I'm only working with an external HD, project file is on that HD also. I'm starting to do my REEL of the past 2 years, can't be changing the location of all the folders that aren't working, that would take me days!
Thanks,
Ciarán.

Thank you for replying, Ciarán.
Is this issue specific to a project or happening in a new project as well?
What is the make/model of your external drive and how exactly is it connected to your computer?
Let me know if cleaning the Media Cache makes any difference.

It's my first project on a new iMac I just got a few days ago. Basically first time I'm opening PP since I got it, don't think there's need to clean media cache... Just tried opening other projects, and files aren't showing in media browser either.
It's a Lacie Rugged USB 3.0, connected to the USB3 port of the iMac.
Thanks,
C

Hello. I still have this issue. My funnel icon is set on All Supported Files and I can't seem to find the answer for this anywhere online.
I'd appreciate it if someone could solve this problem for me.
Thanks.

Maybe try clicking the funnel icon, in Media Browser, to make sure that it is showing all files.

Exactly the same here, using PP CC v12.1, source is a Solid state drive, Windows 7, 12MB. Exactly the same situation and solution as the answer above, for me too. Thanks, jb

This issue has baffled me for some time. I finally decided to ask someone about it and my "subject" line took me right to your port, It was amazing because I unchecked that option, and Bingo! But why is that the default? Doesn't seem to make sense.
But thanks for sharing that trick!
so I decided to post a question here to see if others were! I was amazed by how well the algorithm worked, search string took me right to your post and it worked!
