I wish I was only joking, but unfortunately I'm not!
I find myself swearing at Pr on such a consistent basis (this time due to a bunch of corrupted frame exports. Can't Pr even export still frames!). This got me thinking... What if there was a way to automatically detect any time an editor starts swearing at Pr, triggering the system to automatically create and send a log of exactly what was happening at the time, including all relevant details of the user's computer system, any installed plug-ins, media type(s) used, etc. These logs would then be automatically analysed by an AI system to create a detailed issues chart, so that Adobe would know what issues get their users fuming the most. This would probably have to be a tiny side application, because if it were integrated into Pr, it wouldn't be able to send reports when users swear at it after a general crash that locks up the program or makes it spontaneously shut down. As a separate application, it could also work to detect when users swear while using other Adobe software.
What do others think? As I said in the beginning, I wish I was joking, but at this point, I'm not. Anything that helps the Pr team get their act together should be considered, should it not? Isn't it time to get AI involved in recognizing and determining the severity of our pain points in Pr, to help Adobe pay attention and to save us the trouble of manually writing FRs & BRs like this one that will in all likelihood be ignored by Adobe?
Rant over.
Now back to re-exporting the two dozen still frames that Pr magically found a way to corrupt!
