Modify Cross Dissolve transition to allow it to be excluded from Linear Composite.

There are many instances where GPU accelerated Linear Compositing (Sequence Settings Check Box) is needed, however Cross Dissolve transition creates a poor crossfade when enabled.
Solution would be a checkbox either in the transition itself or in Sequence settings to exclude Cross Dissolve from Linear Composites.
When Linear is enabled, a fade from black to a scene pops from Frame 0 black to Frame 1 at 32%, then frame 3 at 42%. The initial pop is what is a problem. It isnt a smooth fade in or out which is jarring to the viewer and not desirable. See attached image of waveform.
Disabling Linear GPU Compositing makes the Cross Dissolve smooth but, changes the look of all other composits.
Work around is a manual opacity fade which is much more time consuming.
Thanks.
Have something to add?
