I have a project that was using *.mts files with no issues. Now it seems that none of the *.mts files want to reconnect within the project. I've also received a project from the client with a sequence of selects using the same files and these won't reconnect either.
When I try to relink the offline files this message comes up,
"The selected file does not contain audio media used by clip references in one or more sequences. These audio clip references will be deleted, and cannot be undone."
When I continue, the audio is deleted from the timeline.
I've also tried to import the files via the Media Browser in order to pick out the selects myself, but the audio won't import via that method either.
Any insight will be greatly appreciated!
Guessing this is related to Adobe and Dolby falling out over licensing? Sticking with Sierra/PP2017.0.2 until this is sorted.
Workaround might be to use another app to transcode to something Adobe can decode?

AaronC,
What kind of camcorder do you have?
What kind of GPU?
Have you deleted media cache files?
Thanks,
Kevin

I'm not sure of the camcorder used as the footage was passed from the camera operator, to the producer, to me. However, in some of the reversals I think I can see a C100 being used...
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
I have deleted the media cache via the preferences pane.
Thank you!

Hey AaronC,
What is the audio format of these .MTS files? Is it .ac3?
Thanks,
Kevin

Maybe run it through MediaInfo in Tree View? It's free.
