Multi-Camera editing - switching cameras

Participant ,

I am currently editing a multi-camera sequence, but right-clicking and selecting Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 3 in the Drop Down

It takes a while to scroll to the bottom of the Dropdown, and  switching in the source window slows the machine down a bit

Is there a quicker way to switch them?

Even a keyboard shortcut would be handy...

Thanks

There's actually an entire multi-camera view. You can add buttons to your Program monitor to access these or get to the view with Shift+0. If you click the Plus icon at the bottom-right of your Program monitor you can add the record button and the one directly to the right of it to toggle into MC view.

You can go into the Keyboard Shortcuts panel and see what multi-cam shortcuts already exist and add your own to commands that don't have shortcuts already assigned to them.

Hey i have a question how would you shortcut 12 camera angles. For example 10,11 and 12 if the keyboard only goes to 9????

I can't seem to get the number shortcuts to work AT ALL in multi-cam mode.  Modifiers don't work.  Can't figure it out.  It's annoying.  I'm on Mac?  I tried peeping into the keyboard shortcut menu and searching "multicam" but none of those options referenced number 1-9 etc.  I can't figure it out.

I'm on mac I just tried the numbers above keyboard, not numberpad and that worked. My multicam was setup weird by another editor so my B cam was 4 for some reason so maybe try a few numbers just in case.
