Multicam does not remember it's a Multicam

To use the multi-cam view for separate cams on a sequence try opening the multi-cam sequence from the bin with Nesting turned on ... it's the "nest or not" icon on the left side of the timeline header block ...

 

Now when you set your multicam sequence onto the timeline to edit, you see this ... a green single track clip on the timeline.

 

 

Now turn on the multi-cam view and it should work.
