Multicam - how to make it go faster? 13 cameras

Hello,

So as usual, I have to edit a concert shot with 13 cameras. I made the proxies, even on a lower resolution than the default option, and exported all of them on the C drive, which is an SSD drive. I set up the multicam, and it's absolutely uneditable. What could you suggest I should do? Usually, 10 cameras work well with this workflow, but now it's impossible.

Any advice would help.

Installed RAM 32.0 GB
Videcard: Nvidia 1060
Windows 10

What exactly do you mean by "uneditable?"

Hi, what kind of proxy did you make (codec and resolution)? I presume you use H.264 codec...

Instead of H.264, I suggest to try intermediate codecs, like Prores.

AMD processor don't have hardware decoding of H.264 and maybe multicam with 13 cameras is too much for you're combination of procesor and video card.

Thank you, I'll try the Prores codec and see if something changes.
