Multicam: "command z" undoes multiple cuts at one time. Need it to only go back one cut?

When I am editing in multicam going through choosing my angles as it's playing. I sometimes stop and want to undo the last cut. I do my "command z" and I find multiple cuts were undone. How do I get it so it only does the undo to the lest cut?

No by any change the key gets stuck?

I already tried crashing to preferences. Had no effect. And the key is not getting stuck.

I found out you just highlight the cut and hit delete.
