I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.
When I open Premiere Pro CC, half the time it tells me there's 'No capable video play modules'. However, when I close and open it again it opens properly, which makes me question the message's legitimacy.
This only really becomes a problem coupled with the Unlinked Media error I keep getting, which I know I can fix by deleting the Media Cache folders. If I delete them and try to open a project, then get the error, the next time I open it I can't fix the Unlinked Media error by deleting the Media Cache folders, I assume since they're now empty because the project hadn't loaded properly the last time. This often means I have to open a project a minimum of 3 times to get it to work, sometimes more if I get the Video Play Modules error more than once.
If anyone has had a similar experience and/or has a solution, I'd very much appreciate it.

If you do in fact have dual graphics cards and have tried all of the solutions in Adobe's blog Error "Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules" | Startup but none of them work, I recommend reinstalling your Visual C++ Redistributable files. This solution has worked for me.
A detailed description of how to go about this process (on a 64-bit system) is as follows:
The following websites were the ones I initially obtained guidance from, however the links in the Autodesk site are broken for a few of the downloads (hence the need for a VisualStudio Account):
Additional users have reported that using an installer from Majorgeeks is an efficient way to go about this process.
Best of luck!
