When I try to update I get this message:

"No Internet connection was found. Please check your Internet settings or firewall."

and porgram won't update.

I tried "fixes" offered on ADOBE website to no avail.

Anyone know how to fix this ?

Unfotunately, the equivalent method does not seem to work on an iMac. I am getting the same sort of error:

No internet connection. Check your Firewall etc.

But the is no wireless connection on and I connect through cable (RJ45 lan cable).

I am using Firefox. Is that the problem?

I need to upgrade me Photoshop if possible, because if I upgrade my iMac OS as recommended, the old version will not work anymore.
