No sound (mp4) after updating

My Premiere Pro just did an upgrade and now an mp4 that I have been using suddenly has no more sound. It has no sound in previous edits. It has no sound when I re-import. Please provide specific instructions on how to make my mp4 have sound again. Please do not direct me to other websites that may help but rather provide set-by-step as I have already done numerous searches.
