I installed the 2025 version of Premiere Pro, and many MTS files are out of sync between the sound and the image. I updated all the codecs but it didn't help. What do I do???
There is a bug in Pr 24 and Pr 25 that causes this with video files with Dolby digital audio. It seems that this is the bug you see/hear. Today there are three ways to work around it. You can use the beta version on Pr 25.2, you can download and install Pr 23.6.8 and lastly you can transcode the footage/audio to another codec using Shutter Encoder - Encoder|Converter video FREE PC|Mac.
The easiest is using the beta of Pr 25.2 or downgrade to Pr 23.6.8. They are both aviable via the Creative Cl

Try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.
