Did Adobe remove this feature?? I use PP occasionally and will not be paying for any third party nr software. It would be horrible if they removed a feature that worked well in previous versions.
The only alternative I can think of is to export as images, batch process in Lr or Ps, then import again. Obviously that's a massive headache.
If they did remove it, what version do I need to revert to? (so far this 2023 is all headache)

If you mean video noise reduction, there is only one build-in option - VR Denoise. I don't like it and don't use it, but better than nothing, I guess. If you are Ok with 3rd party standalone tools, I can recommend this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NilYO-9YvM

Yeah, there used to be noise reduction that appears to have worked well. Adobe just deleted the feature in 2022 it looks like.

Not really, that 'Remove Grain' effect is from AE, not Premiere itself. And AE still has it. But it's painfully slow, and only works(acceptable) against light noise.

I don't recall Premiere having a built-in video denoiser, but that doesn't mean it didn't.
The main pro-use tool for video noise is of course Neat, which is typically used by pro colorists even though Resolve has a pretty decent noise-reduction OFX tool. I've got Neat, use it both in Pr and Resolve.

This article/tutorial is from 2021, so they had it until recently. I gotta say, I am really not liking the direction Adobe is taking their software. It seems like they are pushing people to other places.
